So yesterday morning we all woke up to the news
that the original playboy had passed away
at the ripe old age of 91.
Whether you were a fan of his or not
you have to give credit where credit is due.
Can you imagine him as a kid in school
standing up in front of his class
and telling his teacher and class mates
what he wanted to be when he grew up.
He would have been absolutely ridiculed by everybody
and probably suspended from school : )
And that’s what I mean by credit where credit is due.
He had a vision and the conviction to follow through on it
Creating a life for himself that nobody else could even imagine.
And make a sh#t tonne of money along the way.
In spite of what other people thought or said to him.
I think most of us could take a valuable lesson from it.
Too often we worry too much what other people think of us
and the remarks they pass about us.
I speak to lads all the time who are desperate to get rid of the belly,
but after a few failed attempts they get disheartened.
And they’re afraid to even mention to their mates or family
that they’re “on a diet” or going to the gym.
Because it will highlight attention if they fail again.
So it even stops them from taking that first step in asking for help
The bottom line is, if your weight or your beer belly is bothering you
it doesn’t have to be that way.
It’s amazing the difference what some small changes can make.
